| Tidal energy converters are mostly marine turbines. They have many disavantages in sea where the environment is very inhospitable. We study a new system based on undulating membrane. Pressure deforms the device periodically, we observe a wave propagating along the length. Electromagnetic converters are distributed over the length of the membrane and act like dampers. In this paper, we present numerical and experimental developments carried out to study the system’s behavior. |
