| Once the specific geographical context of French Polynesia and its needs about the use of results od Remote Sensing and Geographic Information have been presented and situated, the strategy used and developped both by the territory of French Polynesia and Ifremer in partnership is introduced. It comprises four parts and tries, by involving directly the end users, to make known the use of data of the high technology tools represneted bu Space Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems. Several types of the products are proposed and regional extrapolation plans are offered consequently. |
