| In Teil B der Sommerakademie in Lednice ging es um „biologisch essen“. Damit ist natürlich nicht nur das Ersetzen konventioneller Nahrungsmittel durch biologisch erzeugte gemeint, sondern es geht um eine grundlegende Reform des gesamten etablierten Nahrungssystems. Dazu gehören alle Schritte entlang der Lebensmittelkette, von der landwirtschaftlichen Produktion bis auf den Teller – die Prozessqualität und die Ernährungsqualität. Prozessqualität umfasst alle Produktionsschritte inklusive Transport, die Ernährungsqualität betrifft die Auswahl der Qualität der Lebensmittel, die Diätzusammenstellung, die Aufbewahrung und letztendlich die Zubereitung. Diese Zusammenhänge wurden durch die verschiedenen Konferenzbeiträge verdeutlicht. |

| In the study presented the effects of two major system components - fertility management and crop protection - were tested in a rat preference test for the first time. Wheat samples produced under 4 combinations of these management factors: -a) organic fertility and crop protection management, b) organic fertility management and conventional crop protection c) conventional fertility management and organic crop protection and d) conventional fertility management and crop protection - generated in the Nafferton factorial systems comparison (NFSC) trial at Newcastle University, were used as experimental diets.
