A sertéspiacon a kibocsátott termék mennyiségét és a felvásárlási árakat szabá-lyos éven belüli mozgások (szezonalitás) jellemzik. A sertéshús árának alakulását több tényező befolyásolja, például a termelők által felkínált vágósertések mennyi-sége és a feldolgozóipar igényei. Az élősertés iránti keresletet alapvetően meghatá-rozza a feldolgozott sertéshústermékek iránti fogyasztói kereslet. A felvásárlási árakban tapasztalható szezonalitás végeredményben a kereslet-kínálat szezo¬nalitásának tulajdonítható. A cikkben elemzésre kerülnek az általunk legfonto-sabbnak ítélt sertéshústermelő EU tagállamok sertéshús-kibocsátását és felvásárlá-si árait jellemző folyamatok. Hazánk számára mindig is fontos volt az EU piaca, ezért EU tagként a piaci szereplőknek... A 20. század végére globális termelési és kereskedelmi rendszerek alakultak ki az élelmiszergazdaságban. Ezek alapvető jellemzője, hogy a korábban általá-nosan alkalmazott piacvédelmi rendszerek lebomlásával párhuzamosan egyre inkább a termékek ára és minősége válik meghatározóvá. Az Európai Unió napjainkban még képes ugyan ideig-óráig fenntartani a „belső” piacok védelmét, ez azonban valószínűleg nem sokáig marad így. The Hungarian pork market has been in a decreasing position in the last years. The main reasons for that is the increasing international competition, the Hungarian support system has been replaced by CMO of pigmeat and the decrease of pig meat consumption as a result of customer behaviour. There was no exact estimation of the Hungarian supply function. In a earlier paper we have published for regression equations for it. In the first part of present paper we show that these equations forecasted in a appropriate way the pessimistic scenario. The second part of paper discusses revisited, new regression equations. By utilising agro-ecological conditions more efficiently, one eighth of Hungary’s gasoline demand could be satisfied from maize production, without considerably decreasing current agricultural production for human and animal consumption.
