Azospirillum brasilense INTERACTION EFFECTS WITH CAPTAN AND THIODICARB ON THE INITIAL GROWTH OF CORN PLANTS 196
Vogel, Gabriel Felipe; Fey, Rubens.
The application of biological products containing diazotrophic bacteria in the seed has been highlighted as an alternative to reduce the use of nitrogen fertilizers; however, the chemical treatment of the seeds may negatively affect the survival rate of these microorganisms in the soil. The effects of the application of captan (fungicide) and thiodicarb (insecticide) in association with the inoculation of Azospirillum brasilense were investigated in this study for the corn crop. The research was conducted under greenhouse conditions at Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste (UNICENTRO), in Guarapuava, Paraná, Brazil, and under laboratory conditions at the Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul (UFFS), in Laranjeiras do Sul, Paraná, Brazil. A completely...

RESISTÊNCIA MECÂNICA À PENETRAÇÃO EM DIFERENTES SISTEMAS DE USO DO SOLO 196
Vogel, Gabriel Felipe; Fey, Rubens.

RATES OF APPLICATION OF Azospirillum brasilense IN TOMATO CROP 196
de Lima, Neberson de Souza Antunes; Vogel, Gabriel Felipe; Fey, Rubens.
The use of plant growth-promoting bacteria (PGPB) may be a promising agronomic practice to improve the growth and productivity of vegetables. The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of inoculation of Azospirillum brasilense on plant growth and tomato fruit production. Two experiments were carried out: the first one evaluating the growth of the plants in a greenhouse and the second one evaluating the production of fruits under field conditions. The experimental design used in two experiments was the completely randomized 2 x 5 factorial scheme, with four replications. The treatments resulted from the combination of two tomato cultivars (Gaúcho Melhorado and San Marzano) and four inoculant doses (0; 2; 4; 6 e 8 mL kg-1 of seed) containing the...

Evaluation of seedlings from seeds of agroecological Chinese cabbage (Brassica pekinensis) produced in two sizes of tray Sci. Agrar.Paran. / SAP
Martinkoski, Lais; Vogel, Gabriel Felipe; Fey, Rubens.
The use and production of agroecological seeds are promising alternatives to small farmers in organic growth system. In this context, this work aimed to verify the performance of agroecological seeds of Chinese cabbage, associated with the size of the tray, evaluating the characteristics of the seedlings: percentage of emergence, shoot height, root length, and fresh and dry weights. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse at the Department of Agronomy of UNICENTRO in Guarapuava, Paraná State. We used a 2 x 2 completely randomized factorial design, with five replicates and 16 seeds per plot. The first factor was the origin of the seeds (agroecological and conventional), and the second factor was two trays (128 and 200 cells). Seedlings from...

Stimulation of germination and physiological potential of rye and triticale by Azospirillum brasilense, submitted to chemical seed treatment Sci. Agrar.Paran. / SAP
Vogel, Gabriel Felipe; Fey, Rubens.
TThis study aimed to evaluate the effects of the interaction of inoculation of Azospirillum brasilense with captan and carboxin + tiram fungicides used in seed treatment on the initial development of rye and triticale. The study in two simultaneous experiments was developed at the Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul, campus Laranjeiras do Sul, Paraná State, Brazil. The design was completely randomized, with eight treatments and four replications. The treatments were: control; inoculant Azospirilum brasilense; fungicide captan; fungicide carboxin + tiram; captan + carboxin + tiram; A. brasiliense + captan; A. brasiliense + carboxin + tiram; A. brasiliense + captan + carboxin + tiram. We evaluated the germination test (4º, 7º/8º days after sowning) and...
