Salix pentandra L. in Nederland Naturalis
Wiegers, J.; Vries, E.J. de.
Salix pentandra L. occurs in the Netherlands predominantly in the Drenthe district and adjacent parts of the Haff district in Northwest Overijssel. On the Wadden islands Schiermonnikoog and Terschelling 5. pentandra is a differentiating species of the shrub community Salicetum pentandro-arenariae. In the provinces of Drenthe and Overijssel S. pentandra is a differentiating species of the Alnion glutinosae with respect to all other forest classes, and a differentiating species of the shrub community Salicetum pentandro-cinereae. Een aantal waarnemingen aan Leucojum aestivum L Naturalis
Wiegers, J.; Menschaar, M..
On ten localities where Leucojum aestivum occurs, vegetation and soil profile were described, the length of leaves and flower stalks was measured, and the number of flowers per inflorescence was counted. The accompanying species were characteristic for Convolvuletalia-, Phragmitetalia and Magnocaricetalia- or Molinietalia-vegetations. On the three sites within the tidal area individual plants and tufts of plants tended to attain the greatest dimensions. The substrate on these sites was a nearly unripened clayey soil with a high percentage of organic material, strongly resembling the soils on the other sites, which were initial raw peat soils, sometimes more or less clayey. Seedlings of L. aestivum were most common on undisturbed waterlogged peaty soils. To...

Enkele vondsten van de scherpe pinksterbloem in West-Nederland Naturalis
Wiegers, J.; Adema, F.; Mennema, J..
The author describes the habitat of Cardamine pralensis L. subsp. picra De Langhe et D’hose near Amstelveen in the Haf district and concludes that this subspecies is also found in places that differ strongly from those described in other publications. It might be useful to check whether this taxon can be sufficiently separated from the subsp. pratensis on the basis of chromosome counts.
