Etude des Solanderiidae de la Baie de Hansa (Papouasie Nouvelle-Guinée) avec une révision du genre Solanderia (Cnidaria, Hydrozoa) OMA
Bouillon, J.; Wouters, K.; Boero, F..
The morphology of the skeleton of the various species of the genus Solandria was studied by scanning electron microscopy. This allowed the listing of synonymies, and the number of valid species was reduced from 13 to 6. Keys and a comparison table have been established for species identification.

Triebelina ? pustulata Keij, 1974 from the Maldive Islands: more homeomorphy in the ornate Bairiidae (Ostracoda) OMA
Maddocks, R.F.; Wouters, K..
The male anatomy of Triebelina ? pustulata Keij, 1974 suggests affinities to Paranesidea rather than to Triebelina. It appears that as many as six lineages may have produced ornate reefal Bairdiidae: Glyptobairdia, Triebelina, Mydionobairdia, Havanardia, Pterobairdia and Triebelina ? pustulata and related species.

A new thalassocypridine genus (Crusacea, Ostracoda) from brackish waters in the Indian and Pacific Oceans, with the description of a new species OMA
Wouters, K..
Mangalocypria, a new genus of the tribe Thalassocypridini, is described, with a new species, and two previously described species, from Papua New Guinea, the Comoros and Indonesia. The new genus has a remarkable set of characters separating it from other members in the tribe: thin-shelled, translucent and smooth valves, V-process of lower lip developed as a rake, and postero- distal claw of furca fixed to shaft without a joint. The affinities of Mangalocypria gen. nov. with other genera is discussed, and some taxonomical problems in the tribe Thalassocypridini are commented upon. The diagnostic value of incompletely differentiated Zenker organs of premature males is discussed.

A new species of the genus Pontocypria (Crustacea, Ostracoda), commensal of a lamellariid gastropod OMA
Wouters, K..
Pontocypria coriocellae sp. n. is described from Papua New Guinea. The species was found inside the oral tube near the radula, of Coriocella nigra Blainville, 1824 (Gastropoda, Prosobranchia, Lamellariidae). Because of its morphology and its mode of life, the new species may be considered as an occasional commensal of its gastropod hosts. It is the first Pontocypria species to be found inside its host. The distribution of the genus Pontocypria is discussed.

Two interesting new marine interstitial Ostracoda (Crustacea) from the Comoros, with the description of Danipussella gen. nov. OMA
Wouters, K..
A new interstitial ostracod genus and species, Danipussella serpentina gen. nov. sp. nov., from the Comoros (Grande Comore) is described and figured. Its affinities with related genera and species are discussed. The species occurs together with another interesting species, Saipanetta kennesi sp. nov. which is also extensively described and figured, and compared with related species.

Two new marine podocopid species from Hansa Bay, Papua New Guinea (Crustacea: Ostracoda) OMA
Wouters, K..
Two new marine podocopid ostracod species, Bishopina vangoethemi sp. nov. and Actinocythereis laingensis sp. nov. found off the Northern coast of Papua New Guinea are described. The validity of the genus Bishopina Bonaduce et al., 1976 is discussed, mainly in relation to the genus Miocyprideis Kollmann, 1958. Furthermore, the generic characteristics of Actinocythereis Puri, 1953 are discussed and are compared with those of the genus Ponticocythereis McKenzie, 1976.

Comontocypris gen. nov., a marine interstitial new genus of the family Pontocyprididae (Crustacea: Ostracoda) OMA
Wouters, K..
Comontocypris gen. nov., a new ostracod genus from the Comoros is described. It is the first fully described pontocypridid living in an interstitial environment. Its affinities with related genera and its systematical position are discussed.

A new genus of the family Pontocyprididae (Crustacea, Ostracoda) from the Indian and Pacific Oceans, with the description of two new species OMA
Wouters, K..
A new pontocypridid genus, Peripontocypris gen. nov. and two new species are described from the Maldive Islands, Papua New Guinea and from Easter Island. The new genus has a remarkable set of characters, which are unknown in other members of the family: six adductor muscle scars, a Y-shaped Zenker's organ and a large furca. Some other characters of the valves and the soft parts are reminiscent of different pontocypridid genera, and suggest a mosaic type of evolution. The affinities of Peripontocypris with other genera, and its taxonomic position are discussed.

The genus Mungava Harding, 1962 (Crustacea: Ostracoda) from Indo-Pacific brackish waters, with the description of two new species OMA
Wouters, K..
Mungava munda Harding, type-species of the genus Mungava, and two new species, M. papuensis sp. nov. and M. intermedia sp. nov. are described and figured. A short supplementary description is given for M. marthapuriae Keyser and M. riseri Maddocks on the basis of their paratypes. The genus diagnosis is extended. The interspecific differences and the distribution of the actually known species of the genus Mungava are discussed.
