| The technical route of partial revision in overall plan of land utilization is briefly described. It is pointed out that the problem of area measuring in the technical route is mainly due to the digital process. The digital problems of partial revision in overall plan of land utilization are presented as follows: the maps are not being proofread before digitalization; the coordinate matching and projection transformation are not being conducted on the maps; the information is asymmetry before and after the digitalization; the location lacks precision; the result maps are substandard. | Based on the background of national urban and rural comprehensive reform pilot area, the introduction of the profiles of research region and the data obtained by on-the-spot interview survey, the innovative models of farmland property rights system reform in Chongqing are introduced by applying participatory rural appraisal methods and examples. | Taking Dalu Town, Bishan County, Chongqing as an example, general characteristics of peasants’ awareness of land property rights, as well as its differences at different ages, education degree and income level are discussed, according to the questionnaire survey on peasants’ awareness of land property rights in 14 villages. Four suggestions are put forward to improve the property right system, such as adhering to the reform direction of collective ownership, defining the owner of the collective, giving the complete ownership power to the owner, and ensuring the usufructuary right of land for peasants.
