การทดสอบการเป็นปฏิปักษ์ของเชื้อราต่อกลุ่มไข่ไส้เดือนฝอยรากปม Meloidogyne incognita chitwood และกิจกรรมเอนไซม์ย่อยสลาย Thai Agricultural

The objective of this study was to evaluate the antagonistic property of fungi P.Chonia chlamydosporia var. catenulata (P.c.c.), Metarhizium anisopliae, Beauveria bassiana and Paecillomyces lilacinus. against egg mass of root-knot nematode (Meloidogyne incognita). The fungi P.c.c. isolate EYT 35-09 and B. bassiana isolate UD 2 showed colonizing ability with scores of 2.75, while M. anisopliae 222 expressed score of 2.5. The fungal isolate tested were investigated quantitatively on chitinase and protease activities. The results revealed that M. anisopliae 222 exhibited high proteolytic activity (36.77 unit) and high chitinolytic activity (57.94 unit) which significantly different (P<0.01) among isolates tested. The root-knot nematode (Meloidogyne incognita) caused root knot disease of several economic crops. This research aims to evaluate the potential of antagonistic Streptomyces-PR87 to control root knot nematode under laboratory condition and determines the suitable application to tomato root knot disease on under green house condition. The results showed that the culture filtrate of Streptomyces-PR87 obtained from 7 days old culture in Arginine glycerol mineral salt broth at concentration of 50, 75 and 100% significantly inhibited egg hatching of M. incognita at average of the number of second-stage juvenile (J2) larvae per 5 egg masses with 37.67, 6.67 and 3.33 larvae of J2 per 5 egg masses, respectively compared of 136.33 J2 from 5 egg masses in distilled...

ความสามารถในการห้ำและชีววิทยาของด้วงตัวห้ำ Stethorus indira kapur ต่อไรสามชนิด Thai Agricultural

The efficacy of Stethorus indira Kapur feeding on three mite species, mulberry red mite; Tetranychus truncatus Ehara, two spotted spider mite; Tetranychus urticae Koch and african red mite; Eutetranychus africanus Tucker were conducted under laboratory condition. The results showed that the 4th stage larva S. indira was able to consume African red mite more than adult stage. The 4th stage larva consumed eggs and nymphs of 148.85 eggs and 49.75 nymphs per day. The adult stage consumed 146.85 eggs and 49.35 nymphs per day followed by two spotted spider mite but not significantly to mulberry red mite.
