Study on vegetations and soil organisms on salt-affected area planted with multi-species trees was conducted in Ek-Kasatsoonthorn reservoir area at Bann Somsanook, Borabue District, Mahasarakam Province from October 2009 to September 2010. Before tree planting, the land used this area as a grazing area. In this study, the area was divided into four zones (sub area) by the differences in community vegetation growths which were depended on flooding level and salinity. It was found that on the strong salinity area some halophytic plants were presented while other plant species were found in low density.
