The objective of this study is to investigate the importance of community labor for intensive Chinese radish production. Data was collected by questionnaire distributed to 36 farmers from a total of 60 farmers’ household in the community. The results showed that the farmers in Nong-Ngong village, Baan-Had district, Khon Kaen province have been in the continued practice for more than 30 years using mainly household and community labor. On average, the household labor was two persons where during the high labor requirement period, the farmers would exchange and share labor these between households in the community that similar to the past.
