Effect of cultivated methods and pests management to reduced pests outbreak was evaluation at Chai Nat Rice Research Center, Chai Nat province. Experimental design was split plot in RCB with four replications. Main plots were 4 cultivated methods including direct seedling using the Rice Department recommend rate, manual transplanting, machine transplanting and parachuting method. Sub plots composed of 2 pest management including application with IPM-controlled treatments and without pest management controlled treatments. The results found that cultivation methods effected the degree of pest outbreak. Rice thrips (Stenchaetothrips biformis) outbreak more severe than the economic threshold was detected only in cultivation with direct seedling method.... |
