Rice lodge ratooning is the production of a second rice crop from the lodging stubble left behind after harvesting the main crop. This research aims to find out the suitable harvesting time and method for stubble lock-lodge of the main crop in order to achieveing the highest grain yield of the next ratoon crop. The experiment was carried out in a randomized complete block design, arranged in a split-plot configuration, with four replication. The results was showed that the main crop harvesting time either physiological or harvesting maturity stages had no effect on grain yield. In contrast, the stubble lock-lodge method affacted the grain yield. The rice grown from the stubble of the main crop which lodged by combined harvester tractor yielded... |
