Studies of BPH density from light traps were monitored at Prachinburi Rice Research Center and five different farmer fields in Nakhonnayok Province of the following sites: 1) Moo 1 Tha Sai subdistrict Mueang district 2) Moo 7 Tha Chang subdistrict Mueang district, 3) Moo 5 Srisa Krabue subdistrict Ongkharak district, 4) Moo 1 Bueng San subdistrict Ongkharak district and 5) Moo 12 Ban Phrik subdistrict Ban Na district. To attract and trap the brown planthopper (BPH), light was daily turned on between 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Insect collecting and identification were daily monitored from January 2013 to October 2014.
