Uncertainty of the beginning and the end of rainy season which is a result of climate changes from global warming can have a great impact on plant production. This is particularly clear in the Northeast which is mainly rain-fed agriculture. The Office of Agricultural Research and Development Region 3, therefore, studied variation of the beginning and the end of rainy season of the Northeast using rainfall data from Meteorological Station from the year 1981 - 2010, 30 years in total. The data was imported and analyzed using MS Access 2000 and compared to the five-year assessment of spatial data. การสำรวจประชากรและประเมินความเสียหายของข้าวที่เกิดจากการทำลายของหนูในพื้นที่ปลูกข้าวจังหวัดนครนายก Thai Agricultural

Rat population in rice field and damage assessments of rice caused by rats were surveyed at Dong Lakhon, Nakhon Nayok Province. Tracking tiles, active burrows counts and traps success were used to access rat species and population. The results showed that the tracking tiles found highest footprints in pre-harvesting stage were 12.60 % in the dry seasons and 18.40 % in the wet seasons. The active burrows counts found highest number of freshly reopened entrances in pre-harvesting stage were 35.05 % in the dry seasons and 40.79 % in the wet seasons.
