The effects of dietary Schizochytrium sp. supplementation on morphological characters and growth performance of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) were studied. Fish (initial weight 84.08-84.26 g) were fed with pelleted feed (30% crude protein) supplemented with Schizochytrium at 0% (control group), 2.5%, 5.0% and 7.5% and reared for 8 weeks. Results were shown that body depth gain and dorsal width gain of fish fed 7.5% Schizochytriumhad the highest values (2.58±0.19and1.00±0.11 cm), which was significantly higher (P<0.05) than the control group. Evaluations in genetic relationship amomg local rice genetic resources in the lower northern region were perform edusing cluster analysis method. In this study, a total number of 81 rice varieties were selected and clustered in both morphology traits by using the UPGMA of simple matching and agronomic traits by using the Square Euclidean by Ward method. From the morphology traits grouping results, there were 14 clusters (G1-G14) with4 main clusters i.e.Group 12 Group13 Group 2 and Group 6 which could be grouped.The results also showed that Group 12 has the highest number of members of rice varieties that was 56 varieties. Seed morphology of 50 local rice varieties in the southern Thailand was studied in length, width, 100 seed weight, colour, and hair of husked seed and length, width, length/width ratio, shape and colour of dehusked seed. Five rice varieties of central Thailand were used as an outgroup. There is variation in all characters measured except the hair of husked seed and colour of dehusked seed. Husked seed width and dehusked seed width and length/width ratio have normal distribution. Dendrogram showing the relationship among rice varieties will be presented in the meeting.
