Transplanting machine is very importance in rice seed production, because it’s increasing the efficiency of rice seed production by decreasing former crop rice seed and workers. The purpose of study was researching on seedling medias, seed rates, kinds of nutrient for sprayed on seedling in concrete seed bed nursery, seedling ages, number of seedlings/clump, clump spacing and compare machine transplanting method with other planting methods for increasing yields and quality of rice seed with easy management. The results showed that burned hull was convenient for seedling media, because it was easy to find and low cost, but only used in soil seed bed nursery. Limited supply of good quality seeds is a major concern for a public sector. Model development of integrated seed production by farmers in Surin province is a project that aims to educate farmers about an appropriate technology for seed production and also marketing skill. The project was carried out in 2013 at Changpi sub-district, Sri Korabhum district, Surin province. There were 8 farmers participating in this project. Seeds of KDML105 from the Rice Department were used. Seedlings were transplanted using a transplanter. Field inspection to remove all those contaminated plants were conducted twice following the recommendation of the Rice Department. RDH1 is the first hybrid rice variety being released by Rice Department. It is ideal for irrigated areas due to it’s high yield characteristics. Despite the high yield, seed production procedures of hybrid rice are more complicated than the normal ones as hand transplanting is needed. Procedures start from transplanting two sowing dates of male parental line JN43-1-5-5-1-3-1 (R-line) prior to that of the female one, IR79156A (A-line). Furthermore, flag leaf has to be cut off and hand-pollination is needed. The flag leaf cutting leads to the occurrence of dirty panicle disease and therefore the application of fungicide.
