CDSIMEQ: A program to implement two-stage probit least squares AgEcon
Keshk, Omar M.G..
The cdsimeq command implements the two-stage probit least squares estimation method described in Maddala (1983) for simultaneous equations models in which one of the endogenous variables is continuous and the other endogenous variable is dichotomous. The cdsimeq command implements all the necessary procedures for obtaining consistent estimates for the coefficients, as well as their corrected standard errors.

The Effect of Farm Labor Organization on IPM Adoption. Empirical Evidence from Thailand AgEcon
Beckmann, Volker; Irawan, Evi; Wesseler, Justus.
This paper examines the effect of labor organization on integrated pest management (IPM), using cross section data collected from a participatory farming system survey of 157 durian growers in Chanthaburi, Thailand, in 2005. In contrast to many studies of IPM adoption, this work uses the form of farm labor organization as an endogenous factor for identifying the rate of IPM adoption among durian growers. The instrumental variables method was employed to econometrically relate a set of alleged variables as instruments of labor organization to the rate of IPM adoption. Results show that, among others, farms employing hired labor have a significantly lower adoption rate of IPM.

Jackknife instrumental variables estimation in Stata AgEcon
Poi, Brian P..
The two-stage least-squares (2SLS) instrumental variables estimator is commonly used to address endogeneity. However, the estimator suffers from bias that is exacerbated when the instruments are only weakly correlated with the endogenous variables and when many instruments are used. In this article, I discuss jackknife instrumental variables estimation as an alternative to 2SLS. Monte Carlo simulations comparing the jackknife instrument variables estimators to 2SLS and limited information maximum likelihood (LIML) show that two of the four variants perform remarkably well even when 2SLS does not. In a weak-instrument experiment, the two best performing jackknife estimators also outperform LIML.
