| This paper presents a summary of the current knowledge on the systematics of the Greek taxa of Chorthippus, morphologically characterised by angled lateral pronotal keels (usually grouped as Glyptobothrus). Prior to this paper, based on traditional morphology, ten taxa of Chorthippus with angled lateral pronotal keels were recognized from Greece. Based on morphology as well as (and more importantly so) bioacoustics thirteen Greek taxa are now recognised. With addition of a few additional related taxa that occur only outside Greece, all are treated in this paper: Chorthippus apricarius apricarius (Linnaeus, 1758), C. vagans vagans (Eversmann, 1848) (not in Greece), C. v. cypriotus (Uvarov, 1936) stat. nov. | De kiezelsprinkhaan is een vrij grote veldsprinkhaan, met lichtblauwe achtervleugels, die zichtbaar worden als het dier opvliegt. De soort duikt de laatste jaren op steeds meer plekken op in Noordwest-Europa. Op 18 juli 2010 werd de eerste kiezelsprinkhaan voor Nederland ontdekt, op een verlaten spoorwegterrein in Rotterdam. De populatie was vrijwel meteen verdwenen, want het terrein ging al snel op de schop. Alert geworden sprinkhaanonderzoekers waren inmiddels elders in het land ook op zoek en er werden populaties aangetroffen op de Maasvlakte en op spoorterreinen bij Arnhem, Molenhoek en op een andere plek in Rotterdam. De kiezelsprinkhaan lijkt dus vaste voet aan de grond te hebben in ons land. |

| The objective of this study was to characterize the Peruvian isolate of Metarhizium anisopliae var. acridum, CG 863, obtained from the grasshopper Schistocerca interrita, a crop pest in Peru. The characterization was done by comparing this isolate with two other ones of M. anisopliae var. acridum, from Brazil and Australia, and with an isolate of M. anisopliae var. anisopliae. The three M. anisopliae var. acridum isolates had similar growth profiles in agar plates at 25°C and 37°C, and similar RAPD patterns according to the analysis of three primers. However, regarding these parameters and conidial size, these isolates were very distinct when compared to M. anisopliae var. anisopliae isolate. | Orthoptera assemblages associated with macrophytes of floodplain lakes of the Paraná River. The Orthoptera assemblage composition varies considerably, depending on habitat type. This study examines the spatiotemporal relationship between plant diversity, hydrometric level, environmental variables and the Orthoptera richness and abundance in floodplain lakes connected permanently or temporarily with the main channel of the Paraná River. | RESUMEN. Baeacris punctulatus (Thunberg) es una especie de importancia económica, de amplia distribución en Sudamérica. En el presente trabajo se realiza un estudio anatomo-histológico de los órganos reproductivos internos, en hembras silvestres y obtenidas en cámara de cría. El estudio permitió determinar particularidades histomorfológicas, en ovarios, glándulas accesorias, oviductos laterales y oviducto medio, relacionadas con la génesis y transferencia de las gametas y la ovoposición.
