Sixteen new genera and 62 new species are described and illustrated. The new genera concern: Mannokeraia gen. nov. (type species: M. apterus spec. nov. from Australia), Masona gen. nov. (type species: M. prognatha spec. nov. from U.S.A.), Anachyra gen. nov. (type species: A. setosipes spec. nov. from Australia), Pseudochremylus gen. nov. (type species: P. angulifer spec. nov. from Australia), Chremyloides gen. nov. (type species: C. cardaleae spec. nov. from Australia), Apoavga... |

Eleonoria gen. nov. (type species: E. mesembria spec. nov. from Malaysia; five additional species from Japan, China (including Taiwan), Philippines, and Indonesia (Halmahera) are included), Orgilonia pasohensis spec. nov. from Malaysia, Orgilus reclinatus spec. nov. from Congo, O. alboannulatus spec. nov., and O. brevicaudatus spec. nov., both from Uganda, are described and partly illustrated. Keys to the species of Eleonoria gen. nov. and the genus Orgilonia van Achterberg are included. Eleonoria chuchiensis (Chou, 1995) is a new combination. The tribe Mesoscoelini Viereck, 1918 (= Aneurobraconinae Fahringer, 1936) is removed from the subfamily Agathidinae and included in the Orgilinae and synonymised with the tribe Mimagathidini (syn. nov.). |

The genera of the subfamily Rogadinae Foerster, 1862 sensu stricto from the Afrotropical and W. Palaearctic regions are revised. Keys to the species of several genera are given and all genera are fully illustrated. Five new genera are described: Aspidorogas gen. nov. (type species: Aspidorogas fuscipennis spec. nov.), Korupia gen. nov. (type species: Korupia curvinervis spec. nov.), Myocron gen. nov. (type species: Myocron antefurcale spec. nov.), Pholichora gen. nov. (type species: Hemigyroneuron madagascariensis Granger, 1949), and Rectivena gen. nov. (type species: Cystomastax madagascariensis Granger, 1949). Two taxa are renamed: Aleiodes convexus nom. nov. for A. rufithorax (Enderlein, 1912) nec Cameron, 1911, and Scoporogas nom. nov. for... |

The eulophid genus Parzaommomyia Girault, 1915, is revised and redefined. Five new species are described and illustrated: P. sulensis spec. nov. from Sulawesi and West Malaysia, P. africana spec. nov. from Nigeria, P. crassicornis spec. nov. from Sulawesi, New Guinea and China, P. achterbergi spec. nov. from East Malaysia and Java, and P. incompleta spec. nov. from New Guinea. Species of this genus represent a monophyletic Palaeotropical group characterized by six synapomorphies according to the results of the cladistic analysis of all known (six) species and 20 outgroup taxa coded for twenty-nine characters. The supraclypeal area is delimited by grooves (i. e. both the clypeus and the supraclypeus are delimited), the sensory pores on the scape of the male... |

A review of the known specimens of the tribe Cosmophorini Capek, 1958, from the Palaeotropics is given. Twenty-two species new to science are described and figured in this paper. Up to recently (Shaw, 1985; Chen & van Achterberg, 1997) the tribe was unknown from outside of the Holarctic region. Five Oriental species are included into Sinuatophorus van Achterberg, gen. nov. (type species: Sinuatophorus maximus van Achterberg, spec. nov. from Indonesia). Nine Oriental, two East Palaearctic, two Australian and four Afrotropical new species are included in the genus Cosmophorus Ratzeburg, 1848. A key to the Old World species of the Cosmophorini is added. |
