This article deals with the relationship between family farming, ethical-cultural values, solidarity, agroecological practice and good living. Initially, a reflection on the possible impacts of capitalist development on the category of family farmers is presented. After that, the existing relationship between solidarity economy and family agriculture is approached and, in the sequence, solidarity and agroecological family production style are correlated with the objective of living well. In this sense, as an example, the case of two cooperatives of ecological family farmers is presented.
