| The general objective of this paper was to conduct a descriptive statistical analysis of the socio-productive characteristics from a group of interviewed producers. Therefore, semi-structured questionnaires were administered at 55 dairy production systems at Cascavel Region, Paraná State, Brazil, between September, 2013 and April, 2014. Data were tabulated and submitted to descriptive statistical analysis.
