The growth study of s tripped Mullet, from the Bay of Biscaye, from April to June is managed by scale reading. Sorne difficulties appear with the interpretation female scales. The Analysis of ovaries confirms that spring is the period of reproduction, and shows that the age of first reproduction is two year (65 %) or one year old (35 %). Secondly, the exploitation of various statistic data shows the evolution of landings of Stripped Mullet in several harbours, and especially in les Sables d'Olonne, since 1962.
