| New records of the rare wasps Microdynerus exilis and Chrysis gracillima in the Netherlands (Hymenoptera: Vespidae, Chrysididae) Microdynerus exilis and Chrysis gracillima have been rarely recorded in recent times in the Netherlands. New records were the impulse to compile the records of these two species. Only Microdynerus nugdunensis is known in literature as potential host for M. exilis. It seems sure that M. exilis is the main host of C. gracillima in the Netherlands, considering the distribution patterns (fig. 3-5), several records of both species at the exact same locality and the congruent pattern of records over the year (fig. 6). |
