| Over the past decade, coffee producers have been struggling with the world market’s low and unstable coffee prices. Some coffee producing countries try to overcome this crisis by moving from pure commodity exports to higher-price exports of niche market quality products, like “single-origin coffee”, protected by intellectual property tools. Such protection can take the form of trademarks or geographical indications. At present within the single-origin coffee sector, a trend to use the latter form can be observed. | This report examines the likely effects of additional agricultural water rights under the Columbia River Initiative (CRI) on net crop revenues (hay, orchards, vegetables, potatoes, wheat, and other crops) in the state of Washington over the next 20 years. This study corrects for four potentially serious methodological flaws made in two previous studies associated with the CRI and concludes that those studies substantially overestimated the net revenues accruing to producers in the Columbia River area from new irrigated acreage under the CRI. | The correct generic name for the species that belong to Eucharia Boisduval, 1870, a homonym, is either Annamaria D'Abrera & Bálint, 2001, which has been considered to be unavailable, or Lamasina Robbins, 2002, a replacement name for Eucharia. A recent re-interpretation of the original description of Annamaria was incorrect, and Annamaria is confirmed as being unavailable under Article 13.1 of the Code. A proposed neotype for Papilio ganimedes Cramer, 1775 is invalidated, and a possible syntype is illustrated.
