Synchronisation der N-Mineralisierung aus Mulch mit der N-Aufnahme von Freilandgemüse durch optimiertes Management einer Leguminosengründüngung Organic Eprints
Im ökologischen Landbau stellen der Beikrautdruck, die N- und Humusversorgung zentrale Probleme der Fruchtfolge dar. Ertrag, Ertragssicherheit und der Pflegeaufwand werden davon direkt bestimmt. Leguminosenhaltige Grünbrachen in der Fruchtfolge mindern besonders den Unkrautdruck und verbessern die Humusbilanz. Ihre N-Wirkung fällt dagegen bisher unbefriedigend aus, da der oft kurzfristig hohe N-Bedarf der Gemüsepflanzen nicht gedeckt werden kann. Auch über Winter abfrierende Gründüngungspflanzen zeigen oftmals nur eine schwache Düngerwirkung, weil die Gemüsepflanzen nur ein geringes Wurzelsystem haben, das keinen Zugang zu dem tiefer im Boden verlagerten Stickstoff hat. Aspects of phosphorous fertilisation in organic farming Organic Eprints

Balanced fertilisation is essential for a considerate use of limited phosphorus (P) resources and for sustainability in organic farming. Plant available soil P levels will decrease and soil fertility will diminish when using P sources with limited P availability such as rock phosphates, bone and bone meals. An in situ digestion with a combination product of elemental S and rock phosphate enhanced significantly the solubility of non water-soluble P sources. In addition to the problem of insufficient solubility, mineral P sources can be contaminated with toxic heavy metals such as Cd 0.1–92.3 mg kg-1) and U (<LLD - 481 mg kg-1) from their source. Farmyard manure and slurry may contain up to 953/727 and 376/132 mg kg-1 Zn and Cu, respectively.

Hintergründe zu EHEC, Salmonellen und Co. in Gülle, Mist und Boden, Resultate des Forschungsprojektes PathOrganic Organic Eprints

Durch den Ausbruch von EHEC-Keimen in Norddeutschland ist das Potential von krankheitsauslösenden Keimen aus Gemüsepflanzen ins Bewusstsein geraten. In dem transnationalen, mehrjährigen Projekt „PathOrganic“ wurden mögliche Übertragungswege dieser und anderer pathogener Bakterien von Mist und Gülle zum verkaufsfähigen Gemüse untersucht. In Gülle- und Mistproben sowie auf erntereifem Gemüse wurden Keime gefunden. Grundsätzlich besteht ein erhöhtes Gesundheitsrisiko, wenn zu kurz nach dem Ausbringen von Mist oder Gülle Gemüse gepflanzt wird und in der Kette bis zum Konsumenten gute Wachstumsbedingungen für die Keime auftreten, wie etwa bei geschnittenem, in Schutzatmosphäre abgepacktem Gemüse.

Effects of organic versus conventional farming on different chemical soil parameters in Estonia Organic Eprints

A five-year experiment results, have shown that fertilizer amendments are needed for preserving the nutrient balance in the soil. A combination of cattle and green manure, crop rotation and other organic farming practices, with chemical fertilizer amendments could suppose a sustainable solution for maintaining a correct nutrient balance in the soil in long term, better than both farming systems, conventional and organic, by separate.

Einfluss der Wirtschaftsdüngerform auf die Entwicklung von Dauergrünlandbeständen im Berggebiet Organic Eprints

In this study slurry, manure and compost from dairy cattle were used on a newly sown meadow. The influence of these three fertilisers on botany and forage yield were tested in a randomized block design. The amount of farm fertilizers was calculated by 1.2 LU ha-1 considering quantity storage losses. No differences between used organic farm fertilisers in botanical composition were found. The highest LAI (4,7 ground level) and the highest dry matter yield of 11,045 kg DM ha-1 were measured in slurry fertilisation.

Einfluss der Zugabe von Rohphosphat in den Biogasfermenter auf die Düngewirkung fermentierter Rindergülle [Influence of adding phosphate to the biogas fermenter on the fertilization effect of fermented liquid cattle manure] Organic Eprints

Durch die Vergärung von Gülle wird eine deutlich stärkere ertragssteigernde Direktwirkung von Gülle erzielt. Die Nachwirkung war nach zwei Schnitten vergleichbar hoch. Die Verfügbarkeit von N und P steigt mit der Vergärung proportional zueinander. Ein Aufschluss von Rohphosphaten durch die Fermentation konnte nicht erzielt werden. Die Zugabe von leicht abbaubarem organischem Material führte zu keiner höheren Verfügbarkeit von N und P aus dem Grundsubstrat Gülle bzw. aus den zugeführten Rohphosphaten.

In het kader van het project Minder en Anders Bemesten is op het bedrijf van Jan en Hans van Lierop vervolgonderzoek uitgevoerd. In een veldexperiment in herhalingen is getracht de productie van courgette gelijkmatiger in het seizoen te verdelen door op twee peilers te steunen: een bescheiden bemesting om de productie in het begin van het seizoen te verhogen, en grasklaver als voorvrucht om de productie verderop in het seizoen te verhogen. De resultaten tonen dat deze aanpak werkt: met een relatief kleine bemesting is er geen sprake van een verlaagde opbrengst in de eerste helft van de productieperiode. Verder is de bodemstructuur verbeterd door de grasklaver en is de mestgift lager dan anders het geval zou zijn geweest.

La fertirrigazione prevede la distribuzione di concimi sfruttando l'impianto di irrigazione. E' una pratica utile soprattutto per aiutare le piante a superare momenti di stress di natura abiotica (i più frequenti stress idrici e post-trapianto. Attualmente, sono disponibili numerosi formulati, composti da aminoacidi e microelementi impiegabili anche in agricoltura biologica, dei quali è necessario verificare le modalità di applicazione: attrezzature di distribuzione, intervalli fra gli interventi e dosi di applicazione.

Commercial organic fertiliser as supplementary fertilisers in potato crop production Organic Eprints

The nitrogen requirement varies depending on variety and usage. The conventional fertilisation amounts to 120 kg of N per ha in table potatoes and potatoes for processing. Early potatoes and seed potatoes require slightly less nitrogen at about 100 kg of N per ha. The nitrogen supply strongly depends on the conditions for N mineralisation (weather, humus content of the soil, preceding crop residues). Thus, optimising the N supply is complex. Nitrogen from the preceding crop: Grain legumes or cereals in combination with green manure are favourable preceding crops. Çalışma 2001-2010 yıllarında Ege Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Menemen Araştırma Uygulama ve Üretim Çiftliğinin “organik” sertifikalı alanında yürütülmüştür. Ana bitki olarak Yalova Yağlık 28 kapya biber çeşidi, ön bitki olarak da fiğ, kırmızı lahana, marul, bakla, brokkoli, kereviz, karnabahar ve bezelye kullanılmıştır. Organik tarım yönetmeliğine uygun yürütülen çalışmada 9 yıllık süre içerisinde ön bitkilere göre elde edilen biber verim değerleri ile bazı kalite özellikleri belirlenmiştir. Auswaschungsverluste unter biologischer und konventioneller Bewirtschaftung Organic Eprints

In this project, located at Winklhof, a comparison between organic and conventional farming is done. The field trial combines a crop rotation with two levels of fertilisation intensities (one is 1.0 LU ha- and the other is 1.8 LU ha-1). The fertilisation-systems are stable-manure and liquid manure, the treatments were done organically. The aim of this project is to find out which production system is better for the environment in spite of crop yield, product quality and leaching losses. The last parameter was measured in lysimeters. A high amount of yearly precipitation could account the high amount of seepage water. Consequently the leaching losses of both production systems could be compared.

Plantio direto, adubação verde e suplementação com esterco de aves na produção orgânica de berinjela. Organic Eprints

Sob manejo orgânico, foram avaliados, em Seropédica, RJ, os sistemas de plantio direto da berinjela(Solanum melongena) nas palhadas de Crotalaria juncea (crotalária), Pennisetum glaucum (milheto, cv. BRS 1501)e vegetação espontânea (pousio), em comparação com o plantio convencional (aração e gradagem ou enxada rotativa). Simultaneamente, foram avaliados três tipos de cultivo: berinjela em monocultura, em consórcio com crotalária e em consórcio com caupi (Vigna unguiculata, cv. Mauá). Não houve diferença entre os sistemas de plantio direto e convencional quanto à produção comercial da berinjela. A palhada da crotalária foi mais eficiente que a do milheto e do pousio para cobertura morta do solo e conseqüentemente o controle de plantas espontâneas foi maior....

Stickstoffdynamik im ökologischen Gemüsebau im Freiland mit organischen Düngern unter besonderer Berücksichtigung von Flachabdeckungen zur Verfrühung und Verlängerung der Anbausaison Organic Eprints
Zur Erzeugung von ökologischem Gemüse ist in den meist viehlos wirtschaftenden Betrieben zusätzlich zur Stickstoffgewinnung durch regelmäßige Leguminoseneinsaaten eine weitere Zufuhr stickstoffhaltiger Dünger erforderlich. Dabei wird aufgrund der BSE-Krise vermehrt auf Dünger vegetabiler Herkunft zurückgegriffen, wobei sich die Verwendung pflanzlicher Stoffe mit hinreichend hohem Stickstoffgehalt anbietet. Jedoch stellt sich auch hier - vor allem vor dem Hintergrund der durch die Richtlinien der Anbauverbände begrenzten organischen Düngerzufuhr (110 kg/ha) - die Frage des Abbauverhaltens dieser Dünger in Abhängigkeit von Standort und Witterung und dem damit verbundenen Nährstofffluss. Influence of slurry and mineral fertiliser application technique on N2O and CH4 fluxes from a barley field Organic Eprints

The effect of different fertilizer application techniques on nitrous oxide and methane emissions were investigated in a field experiment. Gas fluxes were measured during a five months period in 2001 from a barley field located in Vihti, southern Finland. The effects of different fertilizer application techniques on crop yield and quality were also investigated. According to the results, slurry injection produced the most N2O during the measurement period. Placement of mineral fertilizer produced least N2O. Methane fluxes were close to zero and there were no statistically significant differences between the treatments.

Biodynamic farming is the oldest organic farming movement in Germany. Since Dr. Rudolf Steiner’s “Course on Agriculture” held in 1924, the number of biodynamic farmers in Germany has grown continuously, with 1,317 farmers currently producing on 47,592 ha. One of the most distinctive aspects of biodynamic farming is the use of the so-called biodynamic preparations, which are applied in homeopathic doses. Biodynamic preparations are supposed to improve plant growth and food quality, minimising natural variations. Klimabelastning bør indgå i vurderingen af dyrkningssystemers bæredygtighed. Vi undersøgte udledningen af drivhusgasser under opbevaring og efter udbringning af gødningsprodukter til økologiske sædskifter: Afhøstet kløvergræs som blev ensileret eller komposteret, og plantebiomasse som blev afgasset sammen med gylle. Både afgasset gylle og ensilage af kløvergræs viste positive resultater mht. merudbytte og klimaeffekt.

N-Dünger und N-Düngungshöhe bei Spinat Organic Eprints

Auf dem Versuchsbetrieb Queckbrunnerhof (DLR Rheinland, Schifferstadt) wurde 2008 ein Düngungsversuch zu Spinat durchgeführt. Getestet wurden 7 verschiedene Dünger in zwei Düngerstufen (100 bzw. 150 kg N/ha N-Sollwert). Ziel dieses Versuches war es, insbesondere die Wirkung von überwiegend pflanzlichen Düngern unter kühlen Bedingungen an der relativ schnell wachsenden Kultur Spinat zu testen (Ertragsvergleich).
