On the occurrence of cyanolipids In Paullinia carpopodea cambess And P. cupana Kunth seed oils Acta Amazonica
LAGO,Regina C. A.; SIMONI,Maria de Lourdes P. S. C.; PINTO,Ângelo da C..
Paullinia carpopodea seed oil contains 70% type Icyanolipids with cyanogenetic properties, as proven by chemical and spectrometric techniques. P. cupana seed oil also contains cyanogenic type I cyanolipids, according to its 1Ή-NMR spectrum. The existing controversy in the literature about the presence and/or type of cyanolipids in P. cupana seed oil is probably due to the low amount of these compounds (0.2%) in the seeds.

Cyanogenic glycosides in plants BABT
Francisco,Ilza A.; Pinotti,Maria Helena Pimenta.
The presence of cyanogenic glycosides was determined in 70 plant species from the campus of the State University of Londrina, PR, Brazil, and a further 45 plant species from the Forestry Reserve on the Doralice Farm in Ibiporã, PR, Brazil. Of the vegetative species from the State University of Londrina, 7.1% showed cyanogenic glycosides: Manihot esculenta (Euphorbiaceae), Passiflora edulis (Passifloraceae), Macadamia ternifolia (Proteaceae), Prunus persica (Rosaceae) and Beloperone sp (Acanthaceae). The first four species were considered to be potentially cyanogenic in the field. From the Forestry Reserve on the Doralice Farm, the plant species with cyanogenic glycosides were: Holocalix balanseae (Caesalpinaceae), Nectranda megapotamica (Lauraceae),...
