| A comparative study of some characters as: the lenght of the mesepisternal carina (almost complete or short), the shape of the scutellum (flattened or bilobed), and only in the male: the shape of the distal terga and of the sterna (normal or with some sterna hidden) and the lenght of the basal articles of the flagellum (short or longer than their diameter) resulted in distinguishing Anthidulum from Dicranthidium as good genera separated from Hypanthidioides Moure.
