This study is in keeping with the comprehension of summer mortalities that affects Crassostrea gigas Pacific cupped oysters' spa!. The aim is to characterize genetic families in a physiologic way, and to compare these families qualities with the noticed mortalities. The employed approach consists, on the one hand, in characterising Iivestocks qualities with instantaneous measurings of respiration and biometry. They respectively allow to estimate basic metabolism and to calculate state index. On the other hand, it consists in measuring differently degrees of resistance by the observation of respiration and mortality after thermal stresses. This study allowed to show that the environment and the stresses only act as indications of a pre-existent wealilless,... |
