| Fixação de nutrientes das plantas no solo, pode ser definida como o processo pelo qual nutrientes, prontamente solúveis, são transformados em formas menos solúveis, por reações com compostos orgânicos ou inorgânicos do solo, resultando uma restrição na mobilidade dos nutrientes ou decréscimo na sua assimibilidade pela planta. Kamprath diz que e inerente, aos solos vermelhos das regiões quentes e úmidas em geral, baixos níveis de fósforo assimilável e altas capacidades de fixação de fósforo. Cita os trabalhos de De Datta e outros que acharam insolubilização superior a 98% do fertilizante fosforado adicionado em 3 solos latosol, e os trabalhos de Woodruff e Kamprath, com solo Georgeville. |

| The work had for objective to evaluate the behavior of the phosphorus sources Arad phosphate, Alvorada phosphorite and Triple Superphosphate in two soils, a sandy and a clay 70% basis saturation in the natural acidity condition. The experimental outlining was totally randomized in a factorial scheme, 2 x 2 x 3 x 4, being two soils, three phosphate fertilizer sources and four doses (0, 100, 200 and 400 kg ha-1), with four repetitions. The results were submitted to the variance analysis and adopted the regression, being adjusted the equations and using as a criterion to the statistical pattern choice the significant F tests to 1 and 5%, and magnitude of the determination coefficients.
