This paper displays the Egyptian efforts in the field of training for environmental impact assessment. This field is relatively new between stakeholders, e.g. licensing authorities, developers and consultants. The paper presents a case of EIA training workshop supported by the DfID. This training programme was one of the very few programmes which concentrates on EIA for coastal touristic developments. This training workshop had participated in setting up a newly tailored guidelines for touristic developments in Egypt. The paper also presents a comparison between the old guidelines adopted by the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency and the new guidelines. A partir de 1960 y con mayor intensidad a partir de 1965 se convirtió el Rodadero en el balneario preferido por los colombianos durante ciertas épocas del año en el Mar Caribe. Anteriormente solo era una playa desolada, donde se encontraban dispersas algunas chozas de pescadores. El Rodadero ha sido clasificado por la prensa colombiana y por la opinión pública como el "centro turístico de Colombia" o "la perla del Caribe".
