Minera Yanacocha S.A. mantiene escasaz relaciones productivas y...

Industrial Structure and Competitive Strength of 31 Provincial Districts --A GIS-based Dynamic Shift-Share Analysis AgEcon
Guo, Wen-bo; Wan, Qing.
By using the dynamic shift-share analysis, the industrial structure and competitive strength of 31 provincial districts except Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau are studied by taking the GDP of the three industries as the research entrance and the whole nation as the reference district. The industrial structure and competitive strength of each provincial district is measured. Through the analysis of pertinence, the correlation degree of industrial structure and industrial competitive strength to economic growth is analyzed. The results show that the industrial competitive strength is closely related to the economic growth of the 31 provincial districts, but the contribution made by the industrial structure to economic growth is insufficient and the effect of...

Relationship between the industrial structure and economic growth of Guangdong Province AgEcon
Li, Qian; Li, Hong-yun.
We quantitatively analyze the relationship between the industrial structure and economic growth in Guangdong Province of China from 1980 to 2006 by impulse response function and variance decomposition on the basis of the establishment of VAR model. Result shows that there is a long-term, stable and balanced relationship between the industrial structure and the actual economic growth in Guangdong Province with a reverse amendment mechanism. The industrial structure has a significant influence on the economic growth of Guangdong Province, but there is a certain lag phase of this influence. Economic growth has dependence on the industrial structure, which is showed by the structure of production value.

STRUCTURE OF THE GLOBAL MARKETS FOR MEAT AgEcon
Dyck, John H.; Nelson, Kenneth E..
Meat trade flows among countries and world regions are determined largely by differences among countries in their resource base, their preferences for meat types and cuts, the extent and character of barriers to trade, and the industry structure. Future growth of meat trade depends on further liberalization of protectionist barriers, eradication of animal diseases, economic development, and population growth. Trade growth is likely to feature greater complexity in trade patterns, with more countries engaging in trade, and with an increased tendency for individual countries to import and export meat cuts and offal from the same animal species.

Zhang, Yin-ling; Wang, Dan-tong; Zhao, Wei.
In view of the complexity and non-linearity of energy consumption system and the status quo of the development of energy in Qinghai province, the relations between energy consumption and industrial structure is analyzed by using the quantitative analysis of grey relation degree by using the grey system theory. The relevancy degree among the primary industry, the secondary industry and the tertiary industry and living energy consumption are obtained, and then the trend of energy consumption in the following several years can be predicted. The results show that the secondary industry has the largest relevancy degree to the total energy consumption. In the end, according to the results of the research, several suggestions on how to saving energy are put...
