Objetivou-se avaliar o efeito de sistemas de cultivo, associados ou não a inoculante, na precocidade de cultivares de soja em estádio verde. A pesquisa foi conduzida em condições de campo, no CCA/UFPB, Areia, Paraíba, em blocos ao acaso, com esquema de parcela subsubdividida (3 x 2 x 2), sendo três cultivares (Pati, JLM 004 e Pirarara), com e sem inoculação, e em sistemas de cultivo solteiro e em consórcio, com quatro repetições. Avaliou-se a precocidade das cultivares por meio dos números de dias para a emergência, para o florescimento e para maturação, o período reprodutivo e o número de plantas colhidas. Abstract The production of vegetable crops has been characterized as a highly intensive activity in the use of soil, water, inputs and labor in semi-arid regions, being practiced mostly by small family farmers as a way of subsistence, or in the small-scale commercialization of surplus production. Abstract: The objective of this work was to evaluate the agronomic attributes and production efficiency of corn silage and grains in an integrated crop-livestock-forestry (ICLF) system, with intercropping of eucalyptus, corn, and Urochloa cultivars during three crop years. The experimental design was completely randomized, in 2x5x3 split-split plots with four replicates. The plots consisted of corn cropped between eucalyptus rows (ICLF) and in full sun; the subplots, of the forage grasses U. brizantha 'Marandu', U. brizantha 'Xaraés', U. brizantha 'Piatã', U. ruziziensis, and U. decumbens 'Basilisk'; and the split-split plots, of the 2011/2012, 2012/2013, and 2013/2014 crop years. ABSTRACT Castor bean is an important raw material to produce biofuel in Brazil and can be grown in several regions of the country due to its good adaptation and tolerance to high temperatures and water deficit. The objective of this study was to evaluate the productivity of castor bean plants intercropped at different plant densities with Urochloa ruziziensis.
