The study of the anomalies occurring in the reproduction of Crassostrea gigas in the Arcachon Bay has been addressed through the development of some experimental protocols aimed at highlighting the action of a number of alteragenes on veligeres. The techniques used are described. They are based on the research of the action limits of the products tested on the breeding, formation and growth of oyster larvae. In addition, the sensitivity to micropollutants of the algae the veligere feed on is precised. Finally, larviculture and algae growth monitoring enabled the assessment of the quality of the sea-water and of the sediments in shellfish farming areas. |
