Novas espécies de Arlea do sudeste do Brasil (Collembola, Isotomidae)

Duas novas espécies de Arlea Womersley, 1939, de diferentes ecossistemas do sudeste do Brasil, são descritas e ilustradas: A. psammophila sp. nov. (Restinga de Maricá, Rio de Janeiro) e A. adetolai sp. nov. (Parque Nacional da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro).

De springstaarten Folsomides angularis en F. parvulus nieuw voor de Nederlandse fauna (Hexapoda: Collembola: Isotomidae)

In Nederland zijn natuurlijke en semi-natuurlijke graslanden relatief slecht onderzocht op de aanwezigheid van springstaarten. In de ons omringende landen zijn deze biotopen vaak rijk aan specifieke soorten die alleen daar voorkomen. Naar verwachting kunnen in dit milieu veel nieuwe soorten voor onze fauna gevonden worden, vooral op nutriëntarme, zandige en droge ondergrond. Recentelijk zijn twee soorten uit het genus Folsomides in graslanden in het zuiden van ons land aangetroffen. Het betreft hier een nieuw genus voor de Nederlandse fauna. In dit artikel worden het genus en de twee soorten voorgesteld, beschrijven we de habitat en geven we informatie over de verspreiding en begeleidende soorten van deze springstaarten.

This work had as objective to compare the communities of Entomobryidae and Isotomidae (Collembola) among no-tillage in three fertility levels, conventional tillage and a natural ecosystem (native grassland). In the no-tillage in low fertility and medium fertility Entomobryidae and Isotomidae had populational picks in the winter and in the summer. In the no-tillage in area of high fertility, there was a populational pick for both families in the summer. In relation to the conventional tillage, Entomobryidae had a populational pick in the winter, and Isotomidae in the winter and in the summer.
