| This study summarizes the results of the processing and analysis of data from illegal fisheries, apprehended by the eco-guards of the Marine Natural Reserve of Reunion from 2015 to 2017 (including the first dataset from 2018). These information are valued in terms of fisheries and bioecological knowledge for reef fish species. Thus, both diversity and abundance indices, size structures, growth parameters, stock characterization, can be apprehended from the biological parameters collected on all the species caught because they often do not exist : the sizes, weights, sexes, maturities, scales, otoliths, stomach contents as well as genetic and isotopic samples.
