Última NUEVOS HOSPEDADORES Y LOCALIDADES DE IXODES SIGELOS E IXODES AURITULUS (ACARI: IXODIDAE) EN CHILE Gayana González-Acuña,Daniel; Venzal,José M.; Guglielmone,Alberto A.. Se observó un individuo de Rattus norvegicus infestado con una ninfa de Ixodes sigelos y dos de Oligoryzomys longicaudatus cada uno infestado con una larva de I. sigelos. Ambos son nuevos hospedadores de esta garrapata parásito de roedores descrita exclusivamente en Chile. También se presenta el primer registro del ave Cureus cureus como hospedador de garrapatas del grupo Ixodes auritulus en Chile desde un ave infestada con una hembra de esta especie de garrapata. A key to the East Palaearctic and northern Oriental species of Rhysipolis Foerster, 1862 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Rhysipolinae) is presented. Rhysipolis longicaudatus Belokobylskij, 1994 (stat. nov.) is redescribed, the first host records are given and it is reported new for China. Rhysipolis longicaudatus was reared from Taleporia sp. (Lepidoptera: Psychidae) in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and from Bazaria turensis Ragonot (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) in Qinghai Province. Bras. entomol. Rosado-Neto,Germano H.; Lima,Iracilda M. de Moura. Odontopus brevirostris (Hustache, 1936) feeding on Annona squamosa L., A. cherimola Mill., A. glabra L., and A. muricata L. was observed. The last three host plants are recorded for the first time. The endophitic oviposition occurs in the veins of the ventral surface of the young leaves. The larvae, leaf miners, eat the parenchyma and the adults make small holes in the leaves. The pupation occurs in spherical cocoons protected by a sort of nest (pupation chamber) between the two epidermal layers.
