Sixteen species of marine Haplosclerida were collected by the CANCAP-expeditions, among which two are new to science, viz. Petrosia canariensis and Oceanapia cancap. The Haplosclerida fauna of the south-eastern part of the North Atlantic, comprising 46 species, is reviewed, discussed and compared with those of neighbouring areas of the North Atlantic (NE Atlantic, W Atlantic, West Indies, Mediterranean). Three distribution patterns are recognized: Mediterranean-Atlantic, endemic and amphi-Atlantic. |

Carposinidae, a familiy of ditrysian Lepidoptera, is a natural, easily recognizable group. Nonetheless, its study has been strongly neglected for a long time, as far as the Palaearctic fauna is concerned. The present paper is a revision, with the use of original types, as far as they are available. A corrected generic classification is presented, based chiefly on the genital characters, instead of those of the wing venation as used by the older authors. Eight genera, 44 species, three subspecies, and one forma are recorded for the Palaearctic Region and most of them are redescribed, while the genitalia of the two sexes are described and figured, many for the first time. One genus, 18 species, and two subspecies are described as new. Besides, three... |

A new genus, Asiaephorus, is recognised and described, with Platyptilia sythoffi Snellen, 1903, as its type-species. Asiaephorus sythoffi (Snellen) comb. nov., is redescribed and a lectotype is designated. A second species, A. longicucullus spec. nov., from Nepal, India and Japan is described. The genus has an East and South-Eastern Palaearctic and North Oriental distribution. |

In this revision the generic synonymy as proposed by Grissell (1976, 1995) is followed. The genus Diomorus Walker is here synonymised with Torymus as well, so that the tribe Torymini (sensu Grissell) includes only one genus in the West Palaearctic region. In Torymus, 154 species are recognised, 38 of which are here described as new. The existing types of nearly all names have been examined and 272 synonyms, 67 of them new, are listed. The genus is subdivided in 13 species groups, five species standing apart as species solae. Keys to the species groups, females and more distinctive males are presented. |

The West Palaearctic species of the genera Gildoria Hedqvist, 1974, and Platyspathius Viereck, 1911 (Braconidae: Doryctinae) are revised. The genus Gildoria is re-instated, Gildoria anthaxiae (Belokobylskij, 1983), G. grandis (Fahringer, 1930), G. planus (Ratzeburg, 1848), G. similis ( Bouc˘ek, 1955) and G. titubata (Papp, 1985) are new combinations, and Dendrosotinus ilanotensisC ˘ apek, 1992, is synonymized with Gildoria titubata (Papp, 1985).
