| Two new sacoglossans were found in brackish mangrove habitats near Pattani in the southern part of the Gulf of Thailand. Both are small species (< 10 mm) living hidden in clay with small green algae high in the intertidal zone becoming not submerged for days. They have black pigment on the dorsal side and their bodies clearly consist of two parts. One is named Gascoignella nukuli n. sp., which looks similar to G. aprica Jensen, 1985 from Hong Kong, but differs in radula, penial spine, body proportions and habitat. The other is G. jabae n. sp., which has two parallel cerata instead of a visceral sack on the posterior side of the body. |

| Twenty-one species belonging to the family Chromodorididae and one species of Hexabranchus (Hexabranchidae) are present in the 1990 Rumphius Biohistorical Expedition (RBE) collection. The 1996 Fauna Malesiana Marine Maluku Expedition (Mal) collected 43 lots of nudibranchs, mostly chromodorids: 17 species were identified, six of which were not represented in the RBE collection. A total of 35 chromodorid species, belonging to nine genera, are described from Ambon and nearby localities. Four species are new to science, and seventeen species are recorded from Indonesian waters for the first time. | Doto uva Marcus, 1955 is a nudibranch species recorded from the Brazilian and Chilean coast. In spite of its wide distribution, D. uva has been described only superficially, mainly as to the pattern of its coloration, external morphology, radular teeth and reproductive system. Here we substantially extend this description, paying special attention to the morphology, anatomy and histology of the digestive and reproductive system. Furthermore, new data on the morphology of the central nervous system and its cell types are given, and finally, the egg mass is described. On the basis of these data, we consider the Doto specimens described from Chile conspecific with those from Brazil. |
