| The principal objective of the work carried out in the deep waters adjoining the island shelf around Martinique between July 1991 and april 1992 was to establish an initial inventory of potentially exploitable deep benthic resources.The cylindrical lobster pot used during fishing experiments allowed the catch of a varied carcinological marine organisms of which six species at least have economic interest : 5 species of shrimp all belonging to the sub-order of Caridea of the Pandalidae family : Plesionika edwardsi, P. (macropoda) polyacanthomerus, P.laevis, Heterocarpus ensifer and H.laevigatus, and one species of prawn of the Nephropidae family : Eunephrops cadenasi. | As part of a larger project financed by the European Union programme "Community initiative PESCA" on the study of "small scale fisheries" in Aquitaine (France), an estimation of the stock of clams in the Bassin d'Arcachon has been conducted. A two-stage stratified random sampling survey has been designed. Samples have been collected using a Hamon bottom sampler in 237 locations distributed over 24 km2. The clam Tapes philippinarum, which appeared in the basin following a series of aquaculture experiments in the mid eighties, is now the main species accounting for more than 90% of the abundance and the biomass, largely overcoming the European species Tapes decussata. | Le déclin de la pêche du merlu dans l'Atlantique nord-est alarme tous les pays dont les bateaux fréquentent les régions 2 et 3 du NEAFC. Une connaissance précise des quantités de poissons débarqués et des efforts de pêche dans les différents secteurs devient de plus en plus nécessaire. Nous avons donc été amené à poursuivre, en la développant, l'étude des statistiques du port de La Rochelle. Ce sont les premiers résultats de ce travail, obtenus à partir des données de 1966, que nous présentons ici. |

| Depuis une vingtaine d'années, l'Ifremer organise des campagnes de pêche scientifique en mer du Nord, Manche, Atlantique et Méditerranée concernant les ressources pélagiques, démersales et benthiques. L'objectif prioritaire est de produire des indices d'abondance des principales espèces commerciales. Elles recueillent également des données sur les espèces capturées non commerciales. Les campagnes sont réalisées selon des plans d'échantillonnage standardisés. L'engin de pêche et son gréement, la position des stations, le tri des captures, les prélèvements biologiques suivent des protocoles fixés. | • In order to assess the sustainability of fish resources in the Natural Marine Park of Mayotte (Western Indian Ocean), indicators and monitoring protocols must be determined. • This study relied on the underwater video technique STAVIRO for assessing fish communities and resources. A pilot survey was conducted in Nov. 2014 in the south-east quarter of the Mayotte lagoon, an area encompassing the marine reserves of Longogori, M’Bouzi and the Saziley Marine Park. Out of 115 stations collected, 104 were analysed for habitat and fish, based on a list of 527 species with fishing, ecological, or emblematic interest (cf. | La spécificité du mode d'alimentation des coquillages fouisseurs présentera toujours un facteur de risques important pour leur qualité bactériologique car ils filtrent les particules présentes sur le sédiment superficiel fortement contaminé. Sur le Bassin d'Arcachon, 300 tonnes de coques et 120 tonnes de palourdes sont pêchées au banc d'Arguin et sur les vasières internes du nord-est de la baie. Leur taux de contamination varie de façon importante selon les sites et les périodes de l'année. Si le secteur central du bassin (île aux oiseaux) semble indemne de pollution, la majorité des zones de pêche peut être ponctuellement contaminée. Ce risque doit ètre pris en compte par la règlementation qui impose des mesures permettant d'améliorer la qualité sanitaire... |
