| The rainfed lowland rice breeding program for Northeastern Thailand: Phase II in collaboration with the Biotechnology project has developed an early maturing, non-glutinous promising line resistant to blast, namely UBN03007-47-7-7-26-35-19. This line was derived from the cross between IR77955-24-75-284 and DHL-279 (a blast resistant donor) at Ubon Ratchathani Rice Research Center in wet season 2003, using both conventional and marker-assisted selection methods. The line UBN03007-47-7-7-26-35-19 is a photoperiod sensitive line. The approximate harvesting date is on 10 November.
