Storage pests are one of the main causes of seed quality deterioration. Thus, the aim of this research was to study the efficacy of phosphine fumigant in combination with plant pesticide powder to protect the rice seed from storage pests. The experiment was conducted at Pranakorn Si Ayutthaya Rice Research Center with 3 periods. The 1st period was during February to June, 2012. Sampling was kept with four replications to obtained amount and type of storage pests. Results showed that in 250 grams seed weight, there were 4 storage pests, lesser grain borer (Rhyzopertha dominica) grain moth (Sitotroga cerealella) red flour beetle (Tribolium castaneum) and rice weevil (Sitophilus oryzae) with average amount of 66.85, 4.43, 1.18 and 0.55, respectively.
