| This report presents the main results for 2002 of the eight points in the Lagune de Thau, in accordance with the monitoring network REMORA: 3 national points and 5 regional added by the «Laboratoire Conchylicole de Méditerranée». Only adults batch is observed in the Mediterranean sea. This year the mortality ratio is low (< 5 %), without significant differences between areas. Like for the whole national network, the average individual weight are less than previous years in Bouzigues and Marseillan area ; in opposite Mèze area has better results. Bouzigues area presents the best productivity rate (3.1) and the worst in the middle of the zone. The AFNOR index, calculed in December, allows to classify the oysters like "spéciales".
