| Este artigo apresenta os resultados de uma ação coletiva para aquisição de um tanque de resfriamento de leite, encarado inicialmente por um grupo de 20 assentados do PA Santa Clara Furadinho, em Unaí, MG, como forma de inserção favorável na dinâmica do desenvolvimento local. Foram acompanhados mensalmente, por cinco anos agrícolas, dados técnicos, econômicos e sociais de três agricultores assentados desse grupo. Houve aumento nas receitas e despesas dos lotes, reposicionamento da utilização da mão-de-obra familiar e diminuição da atividade agrícola. A intensidade da atividade pecuária leiteira sinaliza uma especialização da atividade produtiva nesse assentamento. |

| Esta publicação faz uma abordagem inovadora na medida em que apresenta os resultados da adaptação do sistema de plantio direto às condições dos agricultores familiares assentados de reforma agrária do Município de Unaí, MG. Ela faz parte de um conjunto de projetos desenvolvidos nesse município com o objetivo de gerar conhecimentos e tecnologias para apoiar o desenvolvimento sustentável desses agricultores. |
