Converting Upland Rice Fields to Rice Terraces in Slopping Area is one of the chosen rice planting system for sustainable rice cultivation on the mountainous area in the upper northern of Thailand. It can increase more double yield than from the upland rice . Water preserving and soil fertility problems are always found in Converting Upland Rice Fields to Rice Terraces in Slopping Area. Studying water and rice nutrient management in Samoeng Rice Research Center was founded that the yield from 5 water regime treatments were not significantly.
