The decision making process in the agribusiness is the choice of the one option out of several alternative courses that is most suited to its interests. The aim of this article is to identify the structure and the relation patterns between the most important non-financial performance indicators among rural organizations from the State of Paraíba. To carry out this research, 21 rural enterprises and 18 performance indicators were analyzed. The data was collected using a questionnaire. The lack of sustainability of many rural companies has caused a position change of the rural producers which have been using management tools in their activities. Adding value is an interesting strategy for the rural producers to improve the profitability of their activity and also to reach new markets. Such strategy may be enhanced by means of products classification in accordance with an established standard, the use of proper packaging, products industrialization and development of a brand for the products.
