| This atlas contains maps for the 79 species of Steninae (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae) that have been found in the Netherlands. The maps are based on data from collections and field observations. Diagnostic features, distribution in the Palearctic region and bionomics in the Netherlands are treated for each species. An identification key to the genera, subgenera and the Dutch species is also provided. Stenus proditor Erichson, S. subdepressus Mulsant & Rey, S. assequens Rey, S. oscillator Rye, S. bohemicus Machulka and S. ludyi Fauvel are new to the Dutch fauna. |
