In july 1998, the submersible Jonson Sea Link from the Marine Research Institute Harbor Branch of Florida developed research at Galapagos Islands. Unexplored hydrothermal areas in the islands which are rich in biodiversity could provide important marine resources that have not been discovered yet. Thus, the aim of this survey was to explore these resources at the west of Isabela Island besides being the site where they originate are islands and species begin to colonize substrates hard and rocky, Immersions till 3500 meters depth were performed during a time frame of 6 hours.
