Foram utilizados 240 alevinos de tilápia do Nilo (Oreochromis niloticus), com 45 dias, sexualmente revertidos, com peso médio inicial de 1,25 ± 0,14 g alocados em tanques-rede. Foi avaliado o efeito da substituição de 10%, 20% e 30% de ração por levedura de destilaria sobre a função-perda de Taguchi. Os resultados médios obtidos nos parâmetros limnológicos para o controle da qualidade da água, através da análise química, foram normais. As perdas de Taguchi para a produção total, para os peixes mortos e descartados não revelaram uma correlação para os diferentes níveis de inclusão de levedura alcooleira, indicando que a escolha do nível de levedura na ração, para esses peixes, depende da sua disponibilidade e custo ocasional. |

This study was designed to evaluate and model the impacts of processing parameters (steaming time, soaking time, paddy moisture content and soaking temperature) on the energy consumption of five rice varieties (NERICA 8, FARO 52, FARO 61, FARO 60 and FARO 44). Energy consumption in the cleaning, soaking, steaming, drying, dehusking, polishing and grading operations were estimated by fitting data on labour, fuel and electricity consumption, time and machine efficiency into standard equations to determine total energy consumption. Compression is important to prevent a deterioration in quality pellets for long term storage and the moisture content of the pellets must be reduced to or less. In this research the quality of pellet of compost was studied at air temperatures of 50, 60 and 70, air velocities of 0.5, 1, and 1.5 m/s, particle sizes of 16(1.18mm) and 10(2mm) and pellet diameters of 6 and 8 mm. Studies were conducted to evaluate the effect of 10%, 20% and 30% ration substitutions for distillery yeast on the function Taguchis loss using two hundred and forty 45-day-old fingerlings of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus), sexually reverted with an initial average weight of 1.25 ± 0.14 g placed in amianthus box.. The average results obtained for the limnological parameters of the water quality control through chemical analysis were considered normal.
