The intervertebral disk disease (IDD) is the most common cause of spinal cord injuries in dogs. Approximately 15% of discopathies in dogs affects the cervical region. The veterinary physiotherapy has aroused great interest among clinical veterinarians, in view of the non-invasive treatments in several cases. The objective of this paper is to contribute with more information related to the treatment of dogs affected by cervical IDD by using veterinary physiotherapy techniques and to describe a well succeeded case of treatment, as well as to review the literature related to cervical IDD.
